CASHUTEC-NIRMITHI KENDRA ( Center for Ash Utilization Technology and Environment Conservation) is a specialized center established by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited at Shakthi Nagar will serve as a catalyst to take forward Geo Polymer  Concrete Technology to the transit beyond research, from laboratory to wide scale deployment at field with financial assistance from DEPARTMENT AND SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ,GOVT OF INDIA and technical support by SRM University and Kuttuva Silicates Madurai as a supplier of reaction generating liquid(RGL).

CASHUTEC organized National Workshop On “Inauguration Of National Geoplomer Technology Demo Center And Awareness Workshop On Geoplomer “conducted on 28 JAN TO 30 JAN 2019 at CASHUTEC-NK SHAKTHINAGAR, RAICHUR with an aim to propagate the geo-polymer technology to reduce the carbon footprints by the filed application of alternative Portland cement that shows similar mechanical properties and provide new incentives to address the climate change.

The CASHUTEC also requested to the Department of Civil Engineering, Navodaya Institute of Technology Raichur, As a knowledge partner as well as one of the member of organizing committee.

On the behalf of Department of Civil Engineering – NITR, Dr. K Rajesh Kumar, Professor & Head – Civil Engineering Department and along with Mr.Shivalingayya Hiremath Asst.Professor Civil Engineering  were acted as a knowledge partner and member of organizing committee for the grand success.

The Demo Center was Inaugurated by Shri. SUBHOD YADAV, IAS Secretary HKRDB and Regional commissioner Kalburgi. on 30th jan 2019.
