The Women Empowerment and Grievances Redressal Cell of Navodaya institute of technology organised international Women’s Day on 8th March 2019. On this occasion, The chief Guest  Mrs. Swathi Reddy, honorable Trustee, Navodaya Education Trust, addressed the gathering and expressed their feeling on empowering and educating the society to respect the women.

The Guest and the Keynote speaker Dr. Rajashree Kallurkar, Principal, AME PU college addressed the gathering & expressed the necessity of such events by saying that since the behavior of the person depends on the environment in which he is brought up and also advised the students to develop confidence in tackling such situations.

Principal Dr. M. V. Mallikarjuna, Women Empowerment and Grievances Redressal cell Coordinator Prof.E. Channaveeramma, HOd’s,  Staff  and students  were present in the function.
