Phase-1 induction programme for newly admitted B.E. I year students was conducted from 09/08/2019 to 21/08/2019 for 11-days as per the instruction of VTU/AICTE.

Various activities were scheduled such as foundation classes in basic sciences and engineering, personality development class, sports & cultural activities, session on human values followed by a visit to Blind School, plantation of saplings by students under NSS activities,  and aptitude & communication skills test.

All the students participated enthusiastically and won prizes in various activities organized.

The Phase-1 induction programme was concluded on 21/08/2019 where student’s parents, dignitaries from sister institutions of NET, Principal- Dr. Mallikarjuna Sharma, HODs of various department of NIT and faculty were present. Shri S. R. Reddy, Chairman, NET was invited as the Chief Guest and Dr. H. Dodayya, Principal, NET College of Pharmacy was the Guest of Honour for this closing ceremony of the Phase-1 induction programme. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
