One day Guest Lecture on “Importance of Materials and Design in Aerospace Domain” was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering at Auditorium, Navodaya Institute of Technology, Raichur in association with ISTE student chapter on 7 th September 2019.
The Resource person for the guest lecture was Dr. Madeva Nagaral, Deputy Manager, Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bengaluru. He explained the new material technologies, selection and testing concepts which were part of the curriculum, that have the potential to transform the aerospace industry. Recent trends in design of Aircrafts were taught to students. He also talked about the Future challenges in Aerospace domain, to which students interacted with the resource person with queries related to design and testing part and opportunities in aerospace domain.
