Department of civil engineering in association with MSME Technology Centre Bengaluru Organized ONE DAY Technical Seminar  ON ENTERPRENURESHIP AWARENESS PROGRAMME at NIT Auditorium Raichur. Total 200 participants UG Students and 50 participants of faculties of all the departments are participated in this event. The main objective of this Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) is to create awareness among students of Engineering and Science courses about various facets of entrepreneurship as an alternative career option. The idea of organizing this seminar is to inculcate the fundamentals, key concepts of Entrepreneurship in the Engineering and Technology among students.

Objectives if the session:

Successful Entrepreneurs were invited for expert lecture.

· Practicing entrepreneur's success stories – common problems faced by entrepreneurs was discussed.

· Grant, funding and loaning from banks, agencies was discussed.

· Improving communication skills (interacting with people) for better results was discussed.
Outcome of the session:  At the end of the programme, students expressed interest and intention to explore entrepreneurship as a career. Further, information related to entrepreneurship was sought by the students. More experiential learning related to entrepreneurship education was expressed by the students.
