A National level webinar  on “Trends in Bioengineering" was organized on 30th July 2024 by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Navodaya Institute of Technology, Raichur. Bioengineering department is getting more importance in recent days in working according to the medical field, various materials and technologies used in this field were explained in detail. Guest lecturer Biotechnologist Ms.Sushma Hallad delivered a lecture on various aspects of bioengineering, artificial intelligence technology, biocomputing, bioimaging, bioremediation, biomining technologies. 123 students and lecturers were participated and taken advantage of this program. Principal Dr. M.V. Mallikarjuna, Dr.K.Venkatachalam, Head of the ECE Department, said that the program should take full advantage of the importance of “Bioengineering". Prof. Maria Imroz gave the welcome address. Dr. Channaveeramma offered the vote of thanks. Prof. Ashwini G, Prof. Anusha Vitla and others were present.
