An Alumni Interactive session was conducted by “NAVODAYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (NITAA)”, Raichur in NIT Auditorium on 16-02-19. Mr. Sangameshwar Herekal , Junior Engineer, Water Resource Department, Govt. of Karnataka and Syed Khizer Hussain, Site Engineer at Aroly Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., an Alumni of Department of Civil Engineering interacted with final year students. The session started with introduction of the alumni by final year student Miss. Shivani. The Alumni Mr. Sangameshwar initiated the session by sharing his journey of engineering days at NIT-Raichur. He threw light on the various types of competitive exams and also shared the strategy for clearing any govt. exam which was much appreciated by our students. He finally concluded the session by insisting students to concentrate on one thing that can lead them to succeed in their area of interest.

Second Alumni Mr. Syed Khizer Hussain gave a brief idea about internship programs which an engineering student has to pursue during their course and shared the importance of labs which are going to be practically useful for them to do jobs on-site.  He concluded by emphasizing much on softwares which are commonly used in the civil engineering field and insisted students to make use of them.

Head of the Department Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Alumni coordinator Prof. Nagesh Sugandhi and faculties of Dept. of Civil Engg. were present in the session.
