43 Students from second, third and final year and four faculty members of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering have visited Government Museum, Madikeri on 16th December 2022 and BSNL-RTTC, Mysuru on 17th December 2022 as the two days industrial visit to enhance the general and practical knowledge and to bridge the gap between industry and academics. During the visit, the students have seen light and medium mission guns, self-loading rifles, rocket launchers, 32 mm and point 38 rifles, 7.62 barrel rifles, and 303 barrel rifles, fighter jet, weaponry, and articles placed inside the museum through audio and video recordings which have been previously used by Indian army soldiers in many operations. And Students visited RTTC, Mysuru and get insight of on the internal working environment of the Telecommunication unit. This industrial visit also provided an insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the practical aspects of the course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
