Mission

To Create Awareness of Women Potential

Develop self-confidence.
Prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the College.
To inculcate entrepreneurial skills among girl students.

OBJECTIVES

A Women Empowerment Cell is constituted at the Institution level with following objectives.

Develop self-confidence.To create a platform for girl students and female faculty to exhibit their talents hence help developing their personality.
To encourage respect and equality for female gender.
To create awareness about Legal Rights of Women by conducting Competitions and awareness programs as guided by National Commission for Women.
To provide the opportunities through various programs for girl students and lady faculty to be financially, emotionally and mentally empowered.
Counseling of girl students and lady faculty to identify and address their grievances.
Organizing different activities to make women aware of their hygiene habits, health and self-defense etc.
To safeguard the rights of girl students and lady faculty.
Celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, every year
To cultivate entrepreneurial attitude among young girls so that they can become “employers” rather than “employees”.

To encourage the involvement of girl students and female employees in curricular and extracurricular activities.
To Solve women related issues and complains.
To create awareness about women’s welfare.
Creating awareness against harassment and legal remedies available.
Conducting Women’s Day Program.
