Guest Lecture on “Irrigation engineering” was organized by Department of Civil Engineering on 15-09-2022 on the occasion of Engineer’s Day. The chief guest for the event Sri. Amareshappa Retd. Assistant Executive Engineer PWD Raichur, Karnataka. The resource person shared his 36 years of working experience with the students. Around 100 students participated in this session. The event aimed to help the participants to redefine student’s knowledge in canal construction, tank or reservoirs & certain features of canal irrigation were briefly explained in this session. The management and principal sir were gratefully acknowledged by the department for permitting and for their valuable guidelines for a successfully completing this event.
