The women empowerment and Grievance Redressal Cell of Navodaya Institute of Technology Celebrated Ethnic day and International Women’s day with the theme each for equal on 7th March 2020.
The chief Guest and Keynote speaker Dr.Suguna Basavaraj inaugurated the occasion and said, Lead self and Lead others, extinguishing inferiority complex, Live and let others to live slogans will play much important role in the empowerment of women.
Principal Dr.M.V.Mallikarjuna expressed that, Respecting women will definitely lead to the overall development of the nation.
Women Empowerment Cell coordinator Mrs.E.Channaveeramma called for making use of every opportunity to improve Communication skills which leads to recognising all actions to challenge stereotype, fight prejudice and celebrating women’s achievements and hence serving the IWD-2020theme EachforEqual.
On this occasion, the prize distribution was done by Chief guest to the winners of the activities conducted by women empowerment Cell-NITR from 3/3/2020 to 7/3/2020.
